Rate My Landing is a free add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 & 2024 that analyzes each touchdown in real time—measuring vertical descent (FPM) and peak G-forces, then gives you an instant score and keeps a history of all your landings.

We support Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and MSFS 2024 via the SimConnect SDK. Both Steam and Xbox Game Pass editions work seamlessly.

Download the latest Alpha from our Flightsim.to page.
Run the Windows installer (requires Windows 10 or newer).
Launch MSFS, then open Rate My Landing before or during your flight.

No further configuration is needed—just fly and land!

Vertical Speed (FPM): Lower descent rates at touchdown earn higher base points.
Peak G-Forces: Smoother deceleration (minimal G-spikes) grants bonus points.

A small consistency bonus applies for back-to-back smooth landings.

Yes—you can open the History tab in the app to see every landing's FPM, G-force, score, airport ICAO, and timestamp stored locally.

The current Alpha version is 100% free. We plan to keep the core landing analysis free indefinitely, though we may offer optional paid add-ons—like advanced analytics or custom airport packs—in future releases.

Ensure Rate My Landing is started before or soon after MSFS launches.
If you run multiple SimConnect add-ons, close any unused ones or restart MSFS.
Check your firewall/antivirus to allow Rate My Landing to communicate via SimConnect.
